SAN ANDREAS – As your Governor, it is both my duty and my commitment to ensure that every resident of this great state receives accurate, timely, and transparent information. In an effort to promote fairness, balance, and journalistic integrity across all corners of San Andreas, I am proud to announce a new statewide policy regarding governmental communication and public information.
Effective immediately, the Office of the Governor will issue official press releases to all registered news agencies within the state.
This initiative ensures that no matter which outlet you prefer to get your news from — whether it be Weazel News or Vinewood Journal, or future news agencies, you will receive the same facts, the same data, and the same official government position. There will be no favoritism, no gatekeeping, and no selective access. Every newsroom, every reporter, and every citizen will have equal opportunity to stay informed.

In today’s fast-paced environment, where speculation can travel faster than truth, the importance of balanced reporting cannot be overstated. This decision was made in direct response to growing concerns over selective communication, inconsistent coverage, and the increasing public demand for a fair and open dialogue between government officials and the press.
